About Us
Josh Caldwell Owner/ Inspector
Raised in Great Falls, Montana since the 4th grade. Josh joined the Army National Guard out of high school as a diesel mechanic and finally found his passion as a Crew Chief on Blackhawk Helicopters for the Medical Evacuation Team in Helena. He deployed in 2004 and again in 2017, Josh will be retiring this year after 21 years. Josh moved to Billings in 2006 for college and then moved here permanently in 2012.
Josh has always had a finger in construction. Starting with helping his family build their home in Great Falls, working his way through college in lumber yards and framing houses, and later installing HVAC controls, and telephone and computer systems.

Infrared Inspection
Caldwell Property Inspections includes Infrared inspection with every home inspection. Infa-red allows you to see changes in tempature, this allows you to see hot spots due to eletrical shorts, or see if your windows are letting in a draft.
Radon Testing
Radon is a gas that occurs naturally outdoors in harmless amounts. It can enter buildings through cracks in floors or walls. Radon levels are usually highest in the basement or crawl space.
When someone breathes in radon gas, it goes into their lungs, exposing them to small amounts of radiation. This may damage the cells in the lining of the lungs and increase a person's risk of lung cancer. The risk is higher in those who have lived for many years in a radon-contaminated house.
Radon test are done over 48 hours and reports are available immediatley after test compleation.
